![]() ![]() Then the Tuesday brought Meteorology, Human Performance and Principles of Flight, which al went surprisingly well, leaving only instruments on the Wednesday. All of the exams are computerised and they’re so strict, you cant even take your own pens or pencils in with you! Each computer also has this film over the screen so that everyone else’s looks completely blank, so anyone who even thought of cheating you can forget it! After walking out if my systems exam, I felt pretty nervous, being that it was my lowest school finals result, plus there were a whole load of questions I had never seen before that I thought I struggled with, so a shaky start! VFR and IFR comms exams followed later in the day which went well. Then, after 12 days of solid revision back home in Kent, the day for our first proper ATPL licence exam came, and it was systems. The 376 managed to do pretty well as a whole, so hopefully we can build on these results and really perform well in the final set of phase 1 exams! Results were available online a few hours after we sat our last exam on the Tuesday, in which i managed to bag myself an 87% average which made my week! I was slightly dissapointed with a 79% in Systems, Electrics being my downfall so at least i know where to focus my revision before EASA’s. ![]() All 7 exams are crammed into a two day period, with Instruments, Systems and Met on the first day, and Human Performance, Principles of Flight and VFR/IFR comms on the second. School finals are basically OAA’s internal examinations which are a pre-requisite to pass before being allowed to attempt the EASA exams a few weeks later. Well I can safely say that the revision i did prior to school finals was up there with the most revision i’ve ever done. It’s hard to put into words the stresses we’ve all been under over the past month or so, but believe me, its mentally exhausting! Spending every day waking up, eating breakfast then sitting at a computer answering questions all day for a few weeks takes its toll on you!
